About The Position

High Scale is hiring a UGC Content Creator to produce authentic, engaging, high-performing content for beauty, lifestyle, fashion, wellness, and direct-to-consumer brands. The role films short-form content native to platforms such as TikTok and Reels, including product demonstrations, testimonials, unboxings, try-ons, and problem-and-solution narratives. The creator’s on-camera delivery helps shape brand stories, build trust, and support advertising performance across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon.

The creator follows scripts, briefs, storyboards, and creative direction while contributing ideas for hooks, trends, formats, points of view, and creative variations for A/B testing. The role also requires producing clear, high-quality footage, meeting deliverable specifications, supplying raw or lightly edited versions when needed, and working reliably within a fast-moving, high-volume production pipeline. This is a full-time, onsite position in Los Angeles, California.

Requirements

• Comfort speaking, reacting, and storytelling on camera in a relatable, human way.
• Ability to convey trust, enthusiasm, and authenticity without sounding scripted.
• 1–3 years of experience creating TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts content, professionally or independently.
• Understanding of pacing, trends, hooks, and performance-driven storytelling.
• Ability to follow briefs accurately, deliver on time, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with filming on an iPhone or Android device and using ring lights, microphones, and tripods.

• Basic editing experience with CapCut or similar apps.

Responsibilities

• Film authentic, short-form UGC content for platforms such as TikTok and Reels.
• Deliver on-camera product demonstrations, testimonials, unboxings, try-ons, and problem-and-solution narratives.
• Adapt delivery and tone to each brand’s voice and audience.
• Interpret storyboards, bullet-point scripts, and performance frameworks, ensuring required talking points, hooks, calls to action, and product highlights are included.
• Collaborate with producers to refine tone, pacing, and creative angle.
• Suggest hooks, trends, formats, and points of view based on social media performance.
• Help develop creative variations for A/B testing and identify ways to improve believability, storytelling, and clarity.
• Follow requirements for lighting, framing, audio, and exporting, adjusting the setup to different environments.
• Deliver raw footage or lightly edited versions as needed.
• Meet deadlines, turn around retakes and additional angles quickly, and adapt to shifting priorities and production schedules.
