About The Position

The Turret Operator (Limited Setup) sets up and operates an Amada turret punch press. The work includes loading and unloading tools, loading and securing blanks, operating machine controls, maintaining the machine, producing parts to customer drawings, deburring parts during production, and performing secondary operations on punched parts. Additional duties may be required based on business needs. This is a first-shift role scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule totals 40 hours per week.

Requirements

High school-level education or equivalent, with specialized training obtained through vocational courses or on the job.
Have 12-inch calipers that pass calibration testing.
Good math skills, including an understanding of measurements and fractions.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to read and understand production drawings.
Knowledge of punch and die clearances, material bend allowances, and die radius for proper material bending.
Be open to working overtime when necessary.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.

Blueprint-reading skills are desired.
