About The Position

The Turret Operator works in a freezer warehouse operating a turret forklift to pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products. The role places materials for staging and putaway while following regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The position requires turret forklift experience and work in cold-storage conditions.

Requirements

Turret forklift experience is required.
Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; the required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Write the order number, receiver’s name, and case quantity on every order, box, pallet, package, and bin pulled.
Report incorrect tickets promptly to the appropriate leader.
Pull orders in a timely manner.
After pulling orders, help run freight and locate products.
Report broken pallets to a supervisor.
Complete the daily forklift maintenance and check sheet.
Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material-handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
Follow regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Place materials for staging and putaway in the warehouse.
