About The Position

Housekeeping Room Attendants deliver an exceptional guest experience by keeping guest rooms impeccably clean and well-maintained. They provide daily room service, evening turndown service, and prepare guestrooms for new arrivals, adhering to Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond standards. This position requires on-site work due to the daily needs of the job. The pay rate will be determined during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Good to excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds across short-to-medium distances.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift while reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to reach, bend, lift, and carry furniture and equipment.
• Must be able to work on site.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take daily ownership of and execute housekeeping department operations.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds; dusting and vacuuming; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms; removing trash; and cleaning kitchen areas, room refrigerators, coffee makers, cups, glasses, and silverware.
• Notify a supervisor when room servicing is complete so rooms can be sold or occupied.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste in housekeeping areas.
• Report, turn in, and/or log lost-and-found items according to established procedures.
• Replenish supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.
• Immediately report faulty equipment, linen shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards, and other problems to the supervisor on duty.
• Restock work areas for the next shift as assigned.
• Communicate comfortably and effectively with guests and housekeeping staff to service guest rooms efficiently.
• Perform tasks with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Uphold the resort's core values, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
