About The Position

The Truck Tire Assembly Floor Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of hourly employees regarding productivity and schedule attainment, quality, safety, efficiency, cost control, waste control, and housekeeping. This role is also responsible for employee relations, training, performance evaluations, and conducting BT 1 meetings at the start of every shift. The supervisor will maintain the efficiency of operations, ensure the quality of the product, and oversee the maintenance and modifications of equipment. Additionally, the supervisor will manage waste and scrap control, maintain record-keeping, provide a safe working environment, and manage the budget and cost control. Scheduling and housekeeping on the floor, ensuring workspaces are clean and organized, are also key responsibilities. The supervisor will implement and monitor all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements. Other duties may be directed by the Lead Supervisor or Department Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 5 years experience required.
  • Legal authorization to be employed in the U.S. is required.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Tire Assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
