About The Position

This position is responsible for the supervision of hourly employees regarding productivity and schedule attainment, quality, safety, efficiency, cost control, waste control, and housekeeping. Responsible for employee relations, training, performance evaluations, and BT 1 meetings at the start of every shift. Maintain efficiency of operations. Ensure quality of product is being met. Ensure maintenance and modifications are being met for each piece of equipment. Maintain waste, and scrap control. Responsible for and maintaining record keeping. Provide a safe environment on the floor. Responsible for employee relations and training. Maintain budget and cost control Responsible for scheduling. Responsible for the Housekeeping on the floor, ensuring work spaces are clean and organized. Other duties as directed by the Lead Supervisor or Department Manager. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 5 years experience required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Tire Assembly experience.
