As a Truck Service Adviser (TSA), you will provide customer service to customers about the products sold and services provided. The TSA is primarily responsible for writing work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, helping ensure every traveler returns to the road safely and in better condition than when they arrived. The role involves working in a safe, customer-focused environment; developing extensive knowledge of services and products; and using professional, high-integrity selling skills to generate revenue. You will prepare and process work orders and OTC transactions, write ETA work orders, secure purchase orders, prepare and communicate quotes, and create end-of-shift drop and shift reports. You will also explain vehicle issues and needed repairs to customers, communicate regularly with drivers and companies by phone, and handle payments or vehicle-related questions. The position is on second shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Training takes place on first shift, after which the employee moves to the second-shift schedule. The work environment may involve outdoor elements in all seasons, occasional exposure to fumes and particles, and loud noise. Physical demands include regularly speaking to and listening to customers, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and crouching.
