This individual will have experience working at a vehicle parts counter or experience with vehicle/heavy duty equipment parts or repair. Requirements
- Technical school degree in automotive or diesel repair
- Experience working a vehicle parts counter
- Experience working with vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs or parts (Includes but not limited to cars, trucks, diesel, motorcycles, heavy equipment, and military vehicles)
- Wholesale distributor experience
Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication, customer service, and retail skills
- Understand inventory systems
- Knowledge of all makes of truck parts
- Keep accurate records of special-order parts and open tickets
- Ability to make service and parts recommendations based on inventory, service schedule, and pricing
- Commitment to safety in the parts department
