About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This is a solo, local route delivering auto parts in Kentucky and Tennessee, with drivers home daily. The freight is no-touch, using a day-cab tractor and a 53-foot dry van. Strong backing skills are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. Start times must be flexible between AM and PM shifts; the position is on the PM shift for the first two years and includes 11 hours of daily drive time. Pay is weekly, with listed mileage, stop, drop-and-hook, shutdown, sign-on, and potential safety bonuses. Ryder provides well-maintained trucks that are 36 months old or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, and access to fueling at more than 800 maintenance locations. Drivers are responsible for safe and compliant operation, identifying and minimizing hazards, keeping accurate records and logs, and loading or unloading freight—or assisting with it—if required by the customer.
