About The Position

Drive local routes hauling dedicated Staples freight in dry van trailers, with daily home time. The position offers no-touch freight, late-model equipment with advanced technology and safety features, and health benefits beginning on day one. Drivers perform routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements and are expected to work safely, follow applicable laws and customer guidelines, and report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a current Class A CDL from the driver's state of residence.
Have at least six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
Provide acceptable references from past employers.
Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of performing the job duties, including frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; using hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reaching with hands and arms.
Be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
