About The Position

NFI is hiring a CDL A truck driver for its dedicated dry van fleet. The role offers local routes with daily home time and dedicated bakery and dry van freight, including drop-and-hook and live unload activity. Drivers operate late-model trucks equipped with advanced technology and safety features. NFI shops maintain approximately 60% of the company’s trucks and trailers. Average weekly pay is $1,100–$1,650, with safety, inspection, and referral bonuses. Benefits are available from day one. Drivers are expected to perform duties safely and responsibly, comply with applicable laws and customer rules, report equipment problems and incidents, and complete routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a current Class A CDL from the state of residence.
Have at least six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
Provide acceptable references from past employers.
Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of performing the job duties, including frequent moving, standing, walking, sitting, handling items, and reaching.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Follow all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
Safely operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
