About The Position

NFI is hiring a Class A CDL truck driver for its dedicated local fleet. The role operates dedicated dry van equipment on local routes with daily home time. Drivers use a late-model fleet equipped with advanced technology and safety features, and NFI shops maintain an estimated 60% of its trucks and trailers. Compensation averages $1,100–$1,400 per week, with safety, referral, and inspection bonuses. Benefits begin on day one.

Drivers are expected to perform duties safely and responsibly, follow applicable laws and customer rules, and complete routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements. The role also requires reporting equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes. Drivers must be able to operate a motor vehicle legally and safely enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a current Class A CDL from the state of residence.
• Have at least six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Provide acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
• Be physically capable of performing job duties, including frequent moving, standing, walking, and sitting; using hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reaching with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.

• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
