About The Position

American Driver has an opening for a CDL A driver based in Brunswick, GA. This is a full-time W2 position offering paid training with no upfront costs. The training program lasts 4-6 weeks alongside an experienced mentor, focusing on live loads from day one, ELD, HOS, and pre/post trip inspections, with weekly pay throughout. Upon completion, drivers transition to solo driving at $0.56 CPM. The role involves dry van, no-touch loads, with approximately 60% drop and hook operations, running Eastern OTR lanes primarily on I-95, with consistent weekly mileage of 2,200–2,500 miles and predictable dispatch with minimal sitting.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Must be 21 or older
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school
• Clean record - no major violations in the last 3 years
• No DUI within 5 years
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A CDL truck.
• Complete paid training alongside an experienced mentor.
• Handle live loads from day one.
• Perform ELD, HOS, and pre/post trip inspections.
• Transition to solo driving.

• Perform drop and hook operations.
