About The Position

American Driver is hiring in Sanford, NC. This is a full-time W2 position with a fully paid training program for drivers who have completed their CDL school hours. The training program lasts 4-6 weeks and includes real loads from day one, covering ELD operation, HOS compliance, inspections, and daily operations. Drivers will be paid weekly throughout the training. After completion, drivers will earn $0.56 CPM. The role involves dry van, no-touch freight with 60% drop and hook, covering 2,200-2,500 miles per week on Eastern routes with consistent freight. Runs can be day or night depending on dispatch. Drivers will be home every two weeks on a set, planned schedule. The equipment provided includes Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022-2025) with APUs on all assigned trucks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be age 21+.
• Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction.
• No major violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must pass a urine and hair follicle drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in OTR trucking.
• Familiarity with Freightliner or Kenworth trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck for OTR (Over-the-Road) freight.
• Transport dry van, no-touch freight.
