This position is responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job tasks correctly. The role involves making precision cuts to carcasses and separating meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield. The operator will be responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job tasks. Average training time may require 2-3 months. The team member must adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsibilities include setting up the area with all needed equipment, monitoring the production area for trash and food debris on the floor, and performing various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
