This role is responsible for learning to maintain sharp tools to perform job tasks correctly, making precision cuts to carcass and separating meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield. The operator will use powered tools to perform job tasks. Average training time may require 2-3 months. The position requires adherence to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsibilities include setting up the work area with all needed equipment, monitoring the production area for trash and food debris on the floor, and performing various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
