Triage Registered Nurse - Family Medicine
About The Position
Endeavor Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Family Medicine practice in Northbrook, Illinois. The nurse provides nursing care under the direction of the office Practice Manager and physicians. Responsibilities include phone triage, handling test results, medication refills and prior authorizations, conveying plans of care, and providing patient education and teaching. The nurse also reviews and responds to patient messages through NorthShore Connect and documents care in Epic, the electronic medical record. The position requires travel to other sites based on department need and includes weekday hours with rotating Saturday coverage.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- One year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
