About The Position

The Registered Nurse Medical Group provides nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians. Responsibilities include phone triage, handling test results, medication refills and prior authorizations, communicating plans of care, and providing patient education and teaching. The nurse also reviews and responds to patient messages through NorthShore Connect and documents care in Epic, the electronic medical record.

The position is based in Northbrook, Illinois, with travel to other sites as department needs require. The schedule is Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon. This is a full-time role.

Requirements

• Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting.
