About The Position

The Treatment Plan Coordinator helps deliver patient-focused dental care by greeting and scheduling patients, collecting co-payments, presenting treatment plans, and supporting office production goals. The role serves as an advocate and educator, helping patients understand and prioritize dental treatment and establish plans for scheduling and payment. The coordinator also conducts treatment plan consultations, addresses patient concerns, and helps maintain full schedules and smooth office flow.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental experience.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality.
• Excellent customer-service and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, dental software, and the ability to learn new programs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a dental or medical field with scheduling and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette and respond to inquiries from potential patients.
• Assist patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing scheduling and payment plans for dental services.
• Present cases and treatment plans, including chair-side treatment planning.
• Conduct treatment plan consultations with new and existing patients, addressing concerns and answering questions.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm new patient appointments, promoting flexibility and maintaining full schedules and office flow.
• Greet and schedule patients and collect co-payments.
• Work to ensure schedules meet production goals and develop reports on production goals.
