About The Position
Scharf Perio is seeking a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator in Babylon, New York. The coordinator supports the clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. The role guides patients through their treatment journey by explaining treatment options and coordinating scheduling and financial matters. This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Monday 10:30 a.m.–8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m.–2 p.m. The stated hourly pay range is $25–$26.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of front-office experience, preferably in a dental setting, and experience with dental software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with various dental insurance plans.
- Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Educate and consult with patients, and present treatment plans clearly and supportively.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Verify and process insurance for clinical appointments.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and information using dental software.
- Collect and process payments for services rendered.
- Manage doctors’ and hygiene schedules as needed.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive patient engagement and growth.
