About The Position

The Treasury Management Advisor II acquires and develops new profitable, quality treasury management relationships while retaining and deepening existing customer relationships. The role supports treasury management sales and client growth through prospecting, product pricing and structuring, customer proposals, and collaboration with regional partners and relationship managers. The position is based in an office in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Specific work arrangements are provided by the hiring team; some positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible arrangement combining office and work-from-home time.

Requirements

Three or more years of banking experience focused on treasury management or cash management.
A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience of four or more years in banking and/or Treasury Management in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Three or more years of Treasury Management experience.
CTP or another professional designation.

Responsibilities

Prospect for sales opportunities.
Price and structure products.
Prepare customer proposals.
Build internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers to drive treasury management opportunities.
Cross-sell other bank products and stay current on competitor offerings to suggest product improvements.
Proactively manage banker relationships through routine one-on-ones, development and execution of relationship plans, pipeline reviews, pre-call plans, partner plans, and joint calling.
Manage weekly and monthly sales results, enter weekly data on time, and monitor data for accuracy.
Assist with outbound calling initiatives, offer new solutions to clients, and help ensure Huntington is customers’ primary banking relationship.
May mentor other Treasury Management colleagues.
Serve as a positive change agent as Huntington evolves its products and strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
