About The Position

Gentle Dental is hiring a full-time Traveling Treatment Coordinator, Ortho. Treatment Coordinators guide patients through the full cycle of care, from clinical diagnosis to treatment acceptance, and communicate financial planning and available options based on proposed treatment. They help patients move from their first appointment through completion of their treatment plan.

This role travels among Gentle Dental offices in Vista, La Mesa, San Diego, and Carlsbad, California. The listed pay is $19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of front-office experience in a medical environment.
• 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

• QSI experience.
• Previous experience presenting treatment plans and reviewing service costs.
• Bilingual ability.
• Consultative sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options, establish treatment schedules, and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor each patient’s progress toward completing their dental treatment plan and report patient status to the attending doctor.
• Enter and track patient treatment plans in the computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance plans, manuals, exclusions, and limitations.
• Ensure acceptance forms, including predeterminations to third-party benefit providers, are submitted; notify patients of status and financial responsibilities.
