About The Position

Gentle Dental is hiring a full-time Traveling Treatment Coordinator, Ortho. Treatment Coordinators manage patients through the full treatment cycle, from clinical diagnosis to treatment acceptance. They communicate financial planning and available options based on proposed treatment, guiding patients from their first appointment through completion of their care. The role supports orthodontic treatment coordination across the listed Gentle Dental locations in the San Diego area.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of front-office experience in a medical environment.
• 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

• QSI experience.
• Previous experience presenting treatment plans and reviewing service costs.
• Bilingual ability.
• Consultative sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options, establish treatment schedules, and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor each patient’s progress to ensure completion of the dental treatment plan.
• Report patient status to the attending doctor.
• Enter and track patient treatment plans in the computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions, and limitations.
• Ensure acceptance forms, including predeterminations to third-party benefit providers, are submitted; notify patients of status and financial responsibilities.
