About The Position

Gentle Dental is hiring a Traveling Treatment Coordinator to manage patients through the full treatment cycle, from clinical diagnosis to treatment acceptance. The coordinator communicates financial planning and available options based on proposed treatment, guiding patients from their first appointment through completion of their care. Requirements

• At least 1 year of front office experience in a medical environment.
• 1 year of experience in orthodontics.
• Computer literacy.

• QSI experience.
• Previous experience presenting treatment plans and reviewing the costs of services.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options, establish treatment schedules, and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor each patient’s progress to ensure completion of the dental treatment plan.
• Report patient status to the attending doctor.
• Enter and track patient treatment plans in the computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions, and limitations.
• Ensure acceptance forms, including predeterminations to third-party benefit providers, are submitted.
• Notify patients of predetermination status and their financial responsibilities.
• Communicate financial planning and available options based on proposed treatment.
