About The Position

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a 40-hour Traveling Teller (Client Service Associate) for its Northern Nevada Service Staff team. Service Staff colleagues have a hub branch and travel to various branches within the Northern Nevada area. The hub branch is located in Reno, Nevada. Branch hours are Monday through Friday. The role processes debit and credit transactions accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. It also provides a range of client services, addresses client needs and problems, and identifies opportunities to recommend bank products based on clients’ needs. Driving is an essential function of the role. The position offers a pay range of $18.90–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
Solid balancing and customer service skills.
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record; driving is an essential function of the role.

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
Resolve client problems through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products by exploring clients’ needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel to various branches within the Northern Nevada area.
