About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a motivated dental assistant to support its oral surgery team and provide patient care. This part-time position travels between the Snellville, Conyers, and Douglasville offices. The schedule is the first, second, and third Thursday of each month and the fourth Tuesday of each month. The role supports dentists during procedures, helps prepare and maintain treatment rooms, educates patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and assists with basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance. It also includes appointment scheduling and accurate patient-record maintenance. Candidates must meet the stated Georgia requirements before applying.

Requirements

3–5 years of dental assisting experience.
2–3 years of oral surgery experience.
Must be able to travel between offices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Georgia: CPR certification.
Georgia: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays.

Nice To Haves

Georgia Duties Functions Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification is preferred.
Proficiency in dental software and technology.

Responsibilities

Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
