About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join its dental team and contribute to patients’ oral health. This part-time role is scheduled for Tuesdays only and involves working in a fast-paced dental practice. The assistant supports dentists and the dental team in delivering patient care, preparing and maintaining treatment areas, educating patients, assisting during procedures, performing basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and managing appointments and patient records. Requirements
- 2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
- 1–2 years of oral surgery experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- For New Jersey: proof of X-ray training.

- Proficiency in dental software and technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and helping ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
