About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is hiring a part-time Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support its dental team and patient care. The position travels between the Snellville, Conyers, and Douglasville offices. The stated schedule is the first, second, and third Thursday of each month and the fourth Tuesday of the month. The assistant helps prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, support dentists during procedures, provide patient education, perform basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and manage appointments and patient records. The role requires prior dental assisting and oral surgery experience, travel between offices, and compliance with Georgia requirements.

Requirements

3–5 years of previous dental assisting experience.
2–3 years of oral surgery experience.
Must travel between offices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Georgia: CPR certification.
Georgia: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays.

Nice To Haves

Duties Functions Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification is preferred.
Proficiency in dental software and technology.

Responsibilities
