Part Time Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant
About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a part-time Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support its dental team and provide patient care. The schedule is Tuesdays only. The assistant helps prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, maintain a clean and organized environment, educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, support dentists during procedures, perform basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and manage appointments and patient records. Candidates must meet applicable state requirements; in New Jersey, proof of X-ray training is required.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
- 1–2 years of oral surgery experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- For New Jersey: proof of X-ray training.
