About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Occupational Therapist based out of Dallas, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, and travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic. Travel is typically Monday afternoon/evening, with work in the clinic Tuesday-Friday, and flying home Friday afternoon/evening, ensuring you are home every weekend. Travel assignments are provided 2+ weeks in advance. The company is looking for candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This fast-paced role involves working in different clinics weekly, with new teammates and families, as you will be taking over existing caseloads.

Requirements

  • Licensed OT
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel every week, either to a local clinic or to another state.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred, but not necessary as we have a formal training program that includes mentoring.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears for pediatricians and parents.
  • Develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
  • Travel to various Cranial Technologies clinic locations across the United States.
  • Work in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants.
