About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Occupational Therapist based out of Houston, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in a variety of Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. This role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. The position offers a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, and involves travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic. Travel is typically Monday afternoon/evening, with work in the clinic Tuesday through Friday, returning home Friday afternoon/evening. You will be home every Saturday and Sunday. Travel assignments are provided 2+ weeks in advance. The company is looking for candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This role requires adaptability to fast-paced and new settings, potentially working in a different clinic each week with new teammates and families. You will be taking over existing caseloads.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Ability to travel weekly to different clinic locations.

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
Evaluate and treat patients in various Cranial Technologies clinics across the United States.
Adapt to new clinical settings and work with different teams weekly.
