About The Position

Traveling Nurses are part of a regional strike team deployed to support facilities and provide quality care to residents. The role involves traveling between three facilities in the region to provide relief for current center staff. Nurses provide care under the direction of a Supervisor and as prescribed by a physician, in accordance with nursing practice standards and regulations. Requirements

• Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Hold and maintain a current CPR certification; licensed nursing staff must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Have a license in good standing with the state.
• Have no registry finding concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief efforts for current center staff.
• Travel between three facilities within the region to support staffing.
• Provide nursing care to residents under the direction of a Supervisor and as prescribed by the physician, in accordance with nursing practice standards and regulations, and as directed by a Supervisor.
