About The Position

Traveling Nurses (RN) are part of a special strike team deployed to support facilities within the region and provide quality care to residents. The role is suited to someone who enjoys changing environments, works well as part of a team, and is passionate about helping others. Nurses provide relief for current center staff and travel between three regional facilities to support staffing. They provide nursing care under a Supervisor’s direction and as prescribed by a physician, following nursing practice standards and regulations. Requirements

• Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Hold and maintain current CPR certification; licensed nursing staff must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Have a license in good standing with the state.
• Have no registry finding concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief efforts for current center staff.
• Travel between three facilities within the region to support staffing.
• Provide nursing care to residents under the direction of a Supervisor and as prescribed by the physician, in accordance with nursing practice standards and regulations, and as otherwise directed by a Supervisor.
