About The Position

Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Registered Nurses to direct resident care and provide physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. The RN collaborates with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The role is offered as full-time, part-time, or PRN, with listed schedules of 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. for full-time and 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. for part-time. Starting pay is $35.00, based on experience, with $3.00 differentials for second and third shifts.

Otterbein SeniorLife is a nonprofit health and human service organization providing senior housing and care in Ohio and Indiana, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory support, respite care, in-home care, and hospice services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice is desired.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
• Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
• Communicate with nursing and other departments and service providers.
• Maintain a positive professional image with residents, visitors, and facility staff.
• Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
