About The Position
Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Registered Nurses to join its team. Registered Nurses direct resident care, collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members, and provide physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. The role supports person-centered care that respects each resident and their choices. The position is at Otterbein Marblehead, a senior care community on 47 acres near Lake Erie. The community includes independent living patio homes and apartments, assisted living units, and nursing care suites in two GreenHouse homes. Full-time shifts are available on first and third shifts, with PRN opportunities also available. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour and increases with experience; second- and third-shift differentials and additional Weekend Warrior pay are offered.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice is desired.
- Long-term care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
- Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
- Communicate with nursing and other departments and service providers.
- Maintain a positive professional image with residents, visitors, and facility staff.
- Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned.
