About The Position
Otterbein Green Hills is seeking caring and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide person-centered care in a senior living community in West Liberty, Ohio. Nurses direct resident care and collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members while providing physical and psychological support. The community is under new ownership and management and is part of Otterbein SeniorLife, a nonprofit organization serving older adults through senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, and hospice services. The position is offered part-time or PRN, with a part-time 6 a.m.–6 p.m. shift listed. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour and increases with experience. Shift differentials are $1.00 for second shift and $2.00 for third shift. An option is available for every-third-weekend and every-third-holiday rotation. Open interviews are held Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., except on holidays; appointments are not required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of direct-care nursing practice is desired.
- Long-term care experience is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
- Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
- Communicate with nursing staff, other departments, and service providers.
- Maintain a positive professional image with residents, visitors, and facility staff.
- Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
