About The Position

As a Part-Time Travel Teller, you’ll be a welcoming representative of the credit union, helping members manage their finances with care, accuracy, and professionalism. You’ll travel regularly to Caledonia, Hudsonville, and Wyoming to provide staffing support where needed. The role offers opportunities to build relationships with members and branch staff while developing skills for future career growth. Advancement opportunities and access to internal openings in lending, marketing, IT, HR, and finance are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
6–12 months of cash-handling or customer-service experience.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Professional conduct, communication, and appearance.
Proficiency in basic computer operation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

College degree.
Retail banking experience.
Familiarity with Fiserv DNA.
Proficiency in MS 365.

Responsibilities

Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, fund transfers, and other transactions.
Balance the cash drawer daily.
Assist members with account inquiries and direct deposit letters.
Recommend products and services that support members’ financial goals.
Maintain accurate member records and stay current on the credit union’s offerings.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support branch operations with clerical tasks.
Travel regularly to Caledonia, Hudsonville, and Wyoming to provide branch staffing support.
