About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with regional and nationwide opportunities. This role is for a Med Surg Tele travel RN at St. Alphonsus Health System in Baker City, Oregon. The position involves a 13-week assignment, working three 12-hour shifts per week on days. The stated gross weekly rate is $2,628.00, and the start date is ASAP. The RN may be required to float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions. The nurse practices within their license, knowledge, experience, and scope of practice, and applies the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation. FirstChoice offers travel and per diem opportunities and a variety of practice settings.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU specialties.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, when required, must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
