About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, placing Registered Nurses in short- and long-term assignments across the health system. This Med Surg Tele position is based at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, with regional and nationwide travel opportunities. The assignment is 13 weeks, scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, with a gross weekly rate of $2,448. The role involves floating throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. FirstChoice nurses contribute to professional nursing practice, quality improvement, and person-centered care while working flexibly across a variety of practice settings.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU specialties.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions as qualified and willing.
Apply the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Practice independently and appropriately within licensure, scope of knowledge, and experience.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
