About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse position for an outpatient cardiology clinic assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/25/2026, with a day shift and guaranteed 38 hours per week. The role focuses on ambulatory cardiology care, including EKG monitoring, exercise stress testing, tilt-table testing, IV starts for diagnostics, and patient education.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license, in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Epic EMR experience
- At least 3 years of Cardiology-specific clinic/ambulatory experience
- Cardiology background and ability to work in ambulatory cardiology care settings
Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patient concerns in outpatient cardiology care
- Provide care coordination across cardiology services
- Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
- Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
- Start IVs for diagnostic testing
- Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
