Sentara Princess Anne Hospital and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital are hiring Registered Nurse internal travelers for temporary, full-time, 14-week assignments on specific units in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The listed pay rate is $75.00 per hour. Multiple shifts are available, depending on the hospital and unit.

At Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, available assignments are in the Ortho/Joint/Spine Post Surgery Unit (day shift), Stepdown IMCU and Med/Surg (day shift), and ICU (day or night shift). At Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, available assignments are in the Observation Unit (2 North, day shift), Surgery Unit (4 East, night shift), Emergency Department Holds (IMCU and Med/Surg, night shift), and General Surgery/Operating Room (rotating shift).

Requirements

• Associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree, or diploma in the nursing field.
• Virginia or Compact multi-state license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• At least 2 years of recent acute-care hospital RN experience; specialty-unit assignments require at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
