Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel
About The Position
Horizon Health is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Behavioral Health assignment at Wellstone Regional Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The position is full-time, with three 12-hour night shifts per week and every other weekend required. Compensation includes an enhanced hourly rate and a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, with bi-weekly pay and the opportunity for overtime. Horizon Health’s Adventure RN program offers travel assignments across a national network of behavioral health facilities. Travel nurses receive comprehensive orientation before their first assignment and can connect with a nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders for career development and knowledge exchange. Nurses who want to remain at a facility may pursue an intercompany transfer to a permanent position without a pause in benefit coverage. The RN assesses and monitors patients, documents and reports symptoms or changes in condition, maintains accurate patient reports and medical histories, and collaborates with the treatment team to support patient care.
Requirements
- Current Indiana RN license or compact/multi-state license.
- At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or a related area.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
Responsibilities
