About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, providing travel Registered Nurses for short- and long-term assignments across the health system. This Emergency Department RN position is based at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center and is a 13-week assignment. RNs may have nationwide or regional opportunities and will experience a variety of practice settings. Nurses are expected to float across the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. The listed schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week on nights.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department nursing.
Have and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions.
Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Practice independently and appropriately within the scope of licensure, knowledge, and experience.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
