About The Position

Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Behavioral Health assignment at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, Texas. This is a full-time night-shift position with a two-week schedule rotation of 36/48 hours and every other weekend required. The assignment offers an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, bi-weekly pay, and the opportunity for overtime.

Horizon Health’s Adventure RN program offers travel assignments across a national network of behavioral health facilities. Travel nurses receive comprehensive orientation before their first assignment and can connect with a nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders for career development and professional exchange. Nurses who wish to remain at a location may pursue an intercompany transfer to a permanent position without a pause in benefit coverage.

The nurse will assess, monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions; maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories; and collaborate with the treatment team to support patient care.

Requirements

• Current Texas RN license or compact/multi-state license.
• At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or a related area.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
