About The Position

Horizon Health is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health for an assignment at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, Texas. The assignment lasts 13 weeks and is full-time on day shift, with a two-week schedule rotation of 36/48 hours and every other weekend required. Compensation includes an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, bi-weekly pay, and the opportunity for overtime.

The nurse will provide behavioral health care by assessing, monitoring, recording, and reporting patient symptoms or changes in condition; maintaining accurate patient reports and medical histories; and collaborating with the treatment team. Horizon Health’s Adventure RN program offers assignments across a national network of behavioral health facilities, comprehensive orientation before the first assignment, career development and peer-learning opportunities, and the possibility of transferring to a permanent position within the company without a pause in benefit coverage.

Requirements

• Current Texas RN license or compact/multi-state license.
• At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or a related area.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
