About The Position

Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Behavioral Health assignment at Clive Behavioral in Clive, Iowa. The role is full-time, with a day-shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts and every-other-weekend work required. Compensation includes an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, and bi-weekly pay; overtime is available.

Horizon Health’s Adventure RN program offers travel opportunities across a national network of behavioral health facilities. Nurses receive comprehensive orientation before their first assignment and can access career development through a nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders. An intercompany transfer to a permanent position at a location or facility is possible without a pause in benefit coverage.

The RN assesses and monitors patients, records and reports symptoms or changes in their conditions, maintains accurate patient reports and medical histories, and collaborates with the treatment team to support patient care.

Requirements

• Current Iowa RN license or compact/multi-state license.
• At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or a related area.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities
