About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse to join its Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Travel RNs assigned to Missouri can earn up to $2,021 per week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travel nurses are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees and may work at various facilities throughout Missouri according to contract needs; each assignment is restricted to one location. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.

Requirements

Associate’s degree.
Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
At least two years of RN experience.
Open availability to travel throughout Missouri as needed for contract requirements.
Active and appropriate Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must live 90 or more miles from the designated facility.
