About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time night Travel Registered Nurse to join its Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Travel Program RN works at various facilities throughout Missouri according to contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. Travel RNs assigned to Missouri can earn up to $2,021 per week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Open availability to travel throughout Missouri as needed per contract requirements.
• Current, active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Must be at least 90 miles from the designated facility.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
