About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, including regional and nationwide opportunities. This assignment is at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center in Iowa, with a 13-week duration, an ASAP start, and a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week. The gross weekly rate is $2,484.

The RN must be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The role requires professional nursing practice, independent and appropriate action within licensure and scope of knowledge and experience, and accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes. The nurse collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to quality improvement, adapts to new responsibilities and ideas, embraces cultural differences, and manages competing priorities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
• At least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed specialties except Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
