About The Position

Registered Nurse (Med Surg) seeking a travel assignment in Lodi, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment with a start date of 09/21/2026. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients on a Med Surg unit, conducting patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care with other disciplines, and supervising nursing staff. Requirements

Availability to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
Med Surg nursing experience preferred
Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to established standards of care
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients on Med Surg, following established standards of care and the nursing process
Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes with clinical judgment
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; perform basic procedures as required
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure seamless patient flow
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff according to unit policies
Document care accurately and maintain patient safety and quality standards
